Awww yeah! Well we are back on the bus, I’m in my bunk just waking up in sunny Oxford, Mississippi. All these years and we’ve never played Oxford. As a child of the Blues there’s always something about playing towns like Oxford, New Orleans, Mobile, Memphis…the list goes on. The history of American music goes on.
We’re making our splash too and keeping the groove so true. Low down, dirty, ice cold lemonade. Take a swig of this hooch and we will play till dawn. Rocking and reeling on this microphone. All you have to do is take one step out of your door and ain’t nothing gonna be the same no more. So what are you waiting for? The road goes forever on, winding out in front of us like a song. I just can’t wait to play my guitar for all of you and we will see you soon! In like 10 hours. If you’ve got some special requests hit me up on twitter @glove and I will do my best to sing them just for you! Be well my friends.
I would like to dedicate this tour and every ounce of music we make this year in loving memory of Nathan Solod – our friend, our brother – love everlasting. Memories flood my mind! Stay positive yall!
Your friend, G

Mixing hip-hop, funk, blues, reggae and any number of other influences to the stage, G. Love (Garrett Dutton III) and band Special Sauce will be playing the House of Blues Feb. 4.
Back from their recent Australian tour where they showcased their Australian release Long Way Down, Philadelphia’s G. Love and Special Sauce are back playing for their fans stateside. The 40-city tour will feature songs from their 2008 release Superhero Brother along with other favorites from their 11-album, 14-year repertoire and hopefully some new songs to boot.
